Remarks

Libor pointed out several mistakes I made in this flight.
  1. I passed the assigned altitude twice more than 200 feet while climbing. This is because I was trying to do something different when I was close to the assigned altitude (e.g., changing the radio frequency, or tuning VOR OBS.) I should focus on the altitude (and do nothing else) when I was close to the assigned altitude.
  2. I forgot the obstacle departure at APC because I expected the LIZRD THREE departure and did not check the obstacle departure in advance.
  3. I should descend more aggressively at approach. Iwas too high for a long time at APC.
  4. I should not put an approach plate on my knee board. I put reclosable fasteners on my handheld GPS and approach plate holder so that I can attach the approach plate holder on the GPS (only) at approach.
